Palermo Airport is situated 35 km outside of the Sicilian city. Also known as Falcone-Borsellino, the Airport is the hub for travel coming to and from Sicily.
Train. Just below the airport is its railway terminal, known as Punta Raisi. You can ride the trains from Palermo Punta Raisi to Palermo Notarbartolo station, which is located just north of Palermo.
The train takes nearly an hour to reach Notarbartolo station. It takes around one hour to get to Palermo Centrale Station. Tickets start from € 6,80.
Taxi. Near the exit of the Arrivals Area, you can find the cab stand area. These generally follow flight arrival times. In case you cannot find vehicle availability, you can contact the main cab companies in the city (which will send a cab within 20 minutes at the latest):

The daytime fare to the center of Palermo (typically the Central Station), does not exceed € 45,00.
Bus. Palermo Airport is connected to the Central Station by the Prestia and Comandè bus service. This runs every 30 minutes at a cost of € 6.10 per person, with intermediate stops starting at the entrance to the city.Tickets can be bought on site (there is an information point for the company inside the Arrivals Area), online or through the company's app. For more information, visit Prestia and Comandé's website.
